GNC Mass XXX - Loose Fat, Gain Muscle and Get Stronger?
I am 16 years old. I am 5"11 weighing about 160 pounds.

I am trying to loose ab fat to get 6 pack abs while gaining weight through muscle mass (mostly upper body). I am on a rigorous daily exercise / lifting plan (stretch, dumbbells, wrist curls, push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, bench, squats, etc) and I am an active athlete.

I am currently taking GNC Ultra Mega dietary multivitamin, which was recommended to me at GNC. I also bought GNC Mass XXX. Is this the right supplement for what I am trying to accomplish? When should I use it (before lifts? before bed?) My ultimate goal is to have massive muscles, while toned and cut in the abs. Am I on the right track?

Any ideas? What other supplements would you recommend for cheap and not too extreme or harmful (animal stacks, anabolics, etc)? Thanks
Mass XXX will not help you achieve being cut. It is a high calorie, high protein powder which will help you gain weight, with the goal being muscle weight. I take Mass XXX, but my main goal is to gain mass in which I can turn into muscle. If I were you, I would which to GNC's Extreme Whey Protein, which is geared towards building muscle, while doing so in a lean manner, which will accomplish getting you cut. Overall, I recommend continuing in your exercise rountine, while cutting your protein shake content down to 20 to 25 grams immediately after your workout.

UPDATED: If you cut the scoop of Mass XXX in half, that would be perfectly fine, because you're right, it's huge. In order for Mass XXX to work to it's maximum potential for your body, you will have to workout at least an hour an a half per session, working your muscles to failure on 8 to 10 reps, in about 4 sets. Really break down the muscle fibers. Here is an example of your weekly rountine:

So i want to start taking mass xxx to gain some more weight hopping that itll only be muscle weight. I was taking Mass xxx for a while with my intended goal of bulking up. I got a lot stronger from taking the supplement and gained some size as well. If your goal is to gain muscle mass I would recommend it. I usually took it within a half an hour of my workout so that I can get the stuff into my system as the muscles begin their recovery process after being broken down from the training.
As far as your abs are concerned, I will warn you that you are going to put on a little bit of excess fat during your bulking phase because this involves eating more calories than you burn & any calories not burned away are stored as fat. However, you can definitely limit the amount of fat you gain during a bulking phase by doing things such as eating lean meats and doing cardio. Don't cut out cardio completely but at the same time don't do too much or else your muscles will not get the chance to build themselves up.
